Flower twining is a delicate and elegant folk craft that is rich in cultural connotation, but it has faded from people’s vision as the times changed. Just as it was about to disappear without anyone knowing, a pair of warm hands recollected it. After years of effort in careful conservation and operation, the wonderful craft is brought to the people once again. This is the work of the first preserver of the “art of the blessing flower” in Taiwan – Hui-Mei Chen.
The shop also purchased the old timber left from the renovation of Old Street to shape them slowly by hand into wooden sticks filled with warmth. The considerate design allows for more convenience during use, which not only treasures natural resources, but also extends the life of old timber.

Le-Hsin Postpartum Care Center - Taiwan brand design
The shape of the bird represents comfort and ease. The round outline gives the overall vision a sense of content and completeness. When we were initially thinking about the design, five major conditions were used for the inspiration and extension of the general logo: ease, joy, content, comfort and protection.

Peaceful Firecracker Paper Recycling - Taiwan packaging design
The people in Taiwan believe that collecting cracker papers from god greeting festivals can bring good luck. We recycled the scraps of the Plow Firecrackers set off during Beigang Mazu’s Pilgrimage in Sanxia, and they are made into the only “Plow Firecracker papers” in Taiwan by Goang Horng Shing Paper Mill in Puli Township.
Placemaking – The Sanxia & Yingge Project - Taiwan community design
“Sanxia & Yingge Placemaking” re-gathered the three major local cultural cores, i.e. tea, dyeing and pottery; invited local youths to participate, gathered energy of industrial cultures, and introduced cross-field design to hold a cross-region feast that connects the local cultures and innovation of Sanxia and Yingge.
Instead of the artistic and cultural design used in the past, bold fuchsia and fluorescent green are selected this year. These two colors were often used in clubs or performances in the early days in Taiwan. The style of the event is adjusted to a livelier atmosphere.
