After ten years of persistence, THE CAN has cultivated and worked on the culture aspects all around Taiwan, and has a unique perspective and delicate acumen to the local spirit and life attitude. We focus on the spirit, trajectory, strength, and attitude towards life, and we continue to practice the ultimate craftsmanship across the field and introduce cross-regional local big shots.

About the Collaborated Gift Box released by THE CAN, we are honored to invite two youths returning to hometown for collaboration-“Yu-Ding- Shing” from Xiluo, Yunlin passing down the three-generation hand-made firewood soy sauce making technology with persistence and belief, and “The Shu's Pottery"; based in Yingge allowing the ceramic art and craftsmanship of ceramic arts to be passed down by incorporating traditional and innovative techniques.

With the mission of inheriting culture, the persistence of craftsmanship and the warmth of hand-made work, through the blending of different fields of craftsmanship and ideas, we offer you different choices of gifts. 

Mutual Benefit of THE CAN 

The two characters' consisting of circles and lines is very interesting. The image of “Gan"; is like an individual, and, as many individuals get together it becomes “Le", which symbolizes that THE CAN provides a platform filled with nutrients allowing a group of like-minded people to get together and do meaningful things.

We hope the spirit of THE CAN will infect more people, and bring more partners to strive together for this land.

Our thick soy sauce is the thickened soy sauce with a hue of miso flavor in perfect proportion made by sauce specialist, with savory and aromatic feature of soy sauce by soy bean medium and sweet flavor of miso by koji. The

pottery plate is made of selected Micao clay, and the purest white glaze is perfectly separated from the clay. The natural iron spots are revealed from the simple and original color, mutually reflecting the beauty with Thick Soy-Miso

Sauce. Feel the taste of hometown flavor in every spoonful of sauce.

Thick Soy-Miso Sauce combines the double making of miso and soy sauce. After long fermentation and waiting, the thickened soy sauce with a hue of miso flavor in perfect proportion is made by sauce specialist, with savory and

aromatic feature of soy sauce by soy bean medium and sweet flavor of miso by koji. Serve as the sauce for dipping, cold blended serving or seasoning during the stewing to add taste to your dishes!

The Shu’s Pottery takes design back to the origin of object, stressing the simplest utility of ceramic utensils. In the making of square utensil and round utensil, we use selected Miaoli clay, and the purest white glaze is perfectly separated from the clay. The natural iron spots are revealed from the simple and original color, striking a balance between tradition and innovation.
