Hand-brewed Amasake - the natural fermented alcohol-free rice liquor in Taiwan

Regarded as the “drinkable nutrient” in Japan

We use organic rice from Loushan, Hualien, to brew amasake. The sweetness comes from glucose dissolved from natural fermentation. The alcohol-free rice koji amasake is rich in vitamins and amino acids. Its usage ranges from non-staple foods for infants to ready-to-drink products for seniors. By drinking a glass of amasake, one can really feel that their body is filled with energy from nature.

Although amasake’s name has “liquor” in it (“sake” refers to an alcoholic Japanese drink), it is actually alcohol-free. In the Edo period, Japanese would drink amasake to replenish physical energy and relief fatigue. Amasake not only has rich and balanced nutrients, its natural fermentation is burden-free and easy to absorb, so it is regarded as the “drinkable drip”.
