冠德玉山教育基金會從2017年「合習聚落 / 青草職能學苑」空間籌建到2018年課程開辦連續兩年的支持，讓這個守護三峽中輟/低學習成就青少年的計畫，得以透過空間活化賦予社區孩子新的生命盼望。

第一個學期的木雕課程結束後，透過冠德玉山教育基金會的委託，開始進行「美境」和「麗境」兩個建案櫃檯木雕立牌的設計和雕刻。於是透過甘樂文創設計木雕樣式，再由協會和木雕師傅進行教學，決定帶著其中一位特別有興趣和天份的孩子進行師徒制的計畫。這樣委託案的意義不只讓更多孩子看見平常的課程不只是體驗，只要認真磨練，每一項行業都可能是未來的發展方向。
