The severe river pollution made the local youth from Sanxia propose the solution through sharing economy. The River Clean-up Operation initiated by the THE CAN has a history for almost a decade; more than 100 sessions for river clean-up have been held, which called upon more than 3,000 people to jointly participated. Through years of efforts spent, it managed to arouse many people's local awareness and land recognition toward the land, which also picked up a lot of wastes that the Sanxia River would not be able to accommodate.
