Tofu DIY Experience

Make and eat your own tofu!

Instructed by the master in the community good food store “Hena Local Soybean Manufacture”, from farm to table, the course will start from the story of Taiwanese soy bean industry. The course also involves own premium soymilk coagulate with natural bittern in traditional techniques, followed by hand pressing. Feel the freshest and purest scent of soybean.


Our tofu involves materials of soymilk made 100% selected local soybean grown in pesticide-free environment by Taiwanese farmers and natural sun-dried bittern from Zhounan Salt Field in Chiayi. All are natural, healthful ingredients.

*Make with your heart-make soft and dense tofu step by step.


After completion, let’s taste the tofu you made for yourself. Its dense and solid texture yields sudden burst of bean-scent filled broth popping in your mouth.

The melted tofu contains a hue of saltiness from the ocean. This is the most traditional healthful tofu. Lastly, have a bowl of warm miso soup to warm up your stomach.

Traditional tofu making technique experience, one mod of tofu for each group.

Maximum 5 members in a group for making one serving of tofu.

Taste your own handmade tofu and warm kombu miso soup on site.
