In 2010 A social innovation partnership construction is set to begin, 10 years of building a complete sustainable community support system, co-innovate and co-develop in partnership with *KOUJI Cross Culture Restaurant, *TAIWANDOU Domestic Soybean, *Taiwan Sustainable City and Town Association, *The CAN Tour. Together, we began to integrate local artistic and cultural resources in the hopes of constructing urban – rural development of Sanxia Township into a friendly and sharing colony of culture and creativity.
A centennial old hospital building by Sanxia Old Street is renovated into an artistic and cultural dining space, connecting local craftmasters , tourism and community to engage in cultivating education taught by craft masters “Shokunins”.
We revamped the historical venues, set up KOUJI Restaurant and HIDEKAWA Domestic Soybean Products to preserve historic buildings.with creative cuisine and soybean produce. Food is more than survival. With it we make friends, court lovers, and count our blessings. Let’s capture the power of a meal to forge relationships!
Sanxia has Qingshui Zushih Temple, Baroque-style Old Street, and the Li Mei-Shu Memorial Gallery, and these all show its profound history, humanities and cultures. The CAN offers energetic shokunins DIY experience tours including indigo dyeing, metalworking, enamel, ironworks, etc. Follow us into Sanxia and feel the most sincere interaction between the people in the community.
